Full Viewer:
The full viewer provides additional functionality such as the ability to turn on
and off map layers, "drill down" identify functionality, and WMS layer overlays.
Simple Viewer:
slow vs
fast connection: For faster connection speeds, the mapper
will use more detailed images including topographic features. These images come
from the
USGS's National Map website
.
For slower connections, the mapper will return smaller images without
topographic information.
